The Jacaranda Inn Bed and Breakfast
The Jacaranda Inn is one of the Big Island's most historic homes. Built in 1897 as a residence for the Parker Ranch manager, this spectacular estate has played an important part in the history of the Big Island's ranching legacy. The home was purchased by Laurance Rockefeller in 1961 while developing the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. This estate became his private residence and a place to entertain his guests, including Jackie Kennedy and Henry Kissinger.
