Mount Hope Plantation

Mount Hope Plantation is on the national register of historical places. It was built in the late 18th century by the Sharp family, one of the first settlers in the Baton Rouge area. This home is a true reflection of a farmhouse plantation in that era. Mount Hope has three historic legacy oak trees on the property. There are five remaining acres of the property, which are lush with beautiful trees and scenery. Mount Hope is conveniently located on Highland Road in Baton Rouge and offers a wonderful place to host your most special occasion.
