Inn at the Park in Wichita
Inn at the Park was originally built in 1909 as a private residence for Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus M. Beachy. The home was located at the easternmost turn-around point for the Wichita streetcar line and overlooked the original Wichita Country Club golf course. Mr. Beachy was Chairman of the Board and General Manager of Steffen Dairy and Mrs. Beachy was well know for her collections of fine furniture, glassware, fine art and dolls from around the world. It remained the family residence until 1955. All guests are served a complimentary breakfast that includes fresh baked breads and muffins, cereals, special hot entrees, fresh fruits, juices and other treats.
